Inferno Hot Pilates

Inferno Hot Pilates (IHP) is a high intensity, low impact, interval training workout that is designed to get the heart pumping. The use of Tabata timing aids in the spike of the heart rate, which kicks your metabolism into high gear and will have you burning calories for up to 16 hours after your workout. You’ll create long lean muscle mass, increase your stamina, build core strength and tighten and tone your entire body using plyometrics and the 6 basic principles of Pilates developed by Joseph Pilates. When using his 6 principles; breath, concentration, center, control, precision and flow, you’ll be able to make a better mind-body connection, which in turn allows you to put your focus on specific muscle groups making the movements more efficient and effective.

When attending these classes, please be sure to hydrate properly throughout the day as you will work up a sweat and burn a good amount of calories. Also, I recommend that you refrain from eating at least 2 hours prior to class for the same reasons.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient, multi-faceted practice originating in India, designed to unite the mind, body, and spirit through a combination of physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. While rooted in spiritual and mental discipline, modern yoga often emphasizes physical fitness, stress relief, flexibility, and strength.

Ashtanga yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a rigorous type of yoga that involves following sequences of postures while synchronizing the breath. It is more physically demanding than some other types of yoga.
